Generate a Full Itinerary with AI
The fastest way to go from idea to a complete trip plan is the Plan with AI mode in the New Trip dialog. Write a single sentence — or a paragraph — describing your trip, and the AI builds a full day-by-day itinerary, assigns stops, and estimates a budget automatically. Each AI generation uses 2 of your monthly AI credits.

Open the New Trip dialog in AI mode
Click the + New Trip button in the top navigation. The dialog opens in Plan with AI mode by default (look for the Sparkles icon and the 'Plan with AI' toggle at the top). If the dialog opened in Build manually mode, click the Plan with AI toggle to switch.

Describe your trip in the prompt field
Type a plain-language description of your trip in the 'Describe your trip' field — up to 2,000 characters. Include destination, trip length, travel style, number of travellers, and any must-haves. For example: '7 days in northern France by rental car, 2 adults, mix of countryside chateaux and Paris, medium budget, food-focused.' The more detail you add, the more tailored the result.

Answer any clarifying questions
After you click 'Build my trip with AI', the AI may respond with a short set of clarifying questions — for example, to confirm your dates, preferred pace, or specific cities. Answer each question (some are required, marked with an orange asterisk) and click 'Build my trip →' to continue. If no clarification is needed, the AI skips straight to building.

Wait for the itinerary to generate
A progress screen shows the AI working through four stages: parsing your description, creating the trip and stops, generating the day-by-day itinerary, and estimating the budget. This usually takes a few seconds. Once complete, you are taken straight to your new trip — no further action needed.

Review and edit your new trip
You land in the Itinerary tab of the newly created trip. Browse each day to see the AI-generated activities, restaurants, and transport items, each with a description and estimated cost. Edit any item by clicking it, add new ones with Add item, or remove items you don't want. From here you can also add booking references, upload photos, and invite travel companions.
