Create a Journey Keepsake
The Journal turns a finished itinerary into something worth keeping. Once a trip is marked Visited, you can add the feeling behind the facts, select the memories you want to carry forward, and export the result as a beautifully formatted PDF.

Mark the trip as Visited
When you are home, open the trip and change its status to Visited. This unlocks the Journal tab and turns the trip from an active plan into a keepsake-ready memory.

Write the highlight and journal note
In the Journal tab, add one sentence in The Highlight and a longer Journal Note about what made the trip special, who was there, or what you want to remember. Your reflection stays private unless you choose to share it.

Review your trip memories
The Journal brings together your cover image, itinerary, stops, photos, photo captions, and comments. Add or upload anything that is missing in the related trip tabs before exporting.

Choose what belongs in the keepsake
Click Export Keepsake and choose whether to include your personal reflection, final budget, selected photo memories, and comments. You can select individual photos and choose Letter or A4 paper size.

Export and share the finished story
Click Export PDF to download a polished keepsake named after your trip. The finished document is ready to print or share, and its closing section includes a QR code that points back to Smooth Traveling for your next journey.
